Verifying a site

Verification shows that a site is yours. It unlocks daily rescans and scanning behind a login on the Pro and Agency plans. Page limits do not depend on verification.

Open the site's settings, find Site verification, and use any one of these methods with the token shown there. Then press Check verification.

Meta tag

Add this tag to the head section of your home page:

<meta name="accessibilitybrief-verification" content="YOUR_TOKEN">

File

Publish a text file containing only the token at:

https://example.com/.well-known/accessibilitybrief-verification.txt

DNS record

Add a TXT record on your domain, or on _accessibilitybrief. followed by your domain, with the value:

accessibilitybrief-verification=YOUR_TOKEN

DNS changes can take a few minutes, sometimes longer, to appear. If the check fails, wait and try again.
