Who we are
AccessibilityBrief is operated by the company named on our contact page, where you can also reach us.
Using AccessibilityBrief
By using AccessibilityBrief you agree to these terms. If you use AccessibilityBrief for a company, you confirm you may accept them on its behalf.
You may scan a website only if it is public and you are allowed to test it. For monitoring and deeper scans you confirm you have the right to scan the site.
No overlay, no changes to your site
AccessibilityBrief reads public pages. It does not change your website, install anything on it, or modify your code or repositories.
Reports are not legal advice
Automated testing detects only a portion of WCAG issues. Reports and generated drafts, including accessibility statements, are informational and are not legal advice or a statement about whether any law applies to you. Have your own advisers review anything you publish.
Payments
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and collects any applicable taxes.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. A one-time audit unlocks the report, fixes, prompts and exports for that scan and is stored for 12 months.
Refunds and cancellation are explained in our refund and cancellation policy.
Acceptable use
Do not use AccessibilityBrief to overload a site, to scan sites you are not allowed to test, or to attempt to reach private networks or internal services.
Suspension
We may stop scans of a site, or suspend an account, that breaks these terms, for example by scanning sites without permission or overloading them. Where we can, we tell you first and explain why.
Liability
AccessibilityBrief is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change affects you in a meaningful way, we email account owners at least 30 days before it applies. If you do not agree, you can cancel before then, and the refund policy applies.
