Images missing alternative text on Elementor

What this is

3 images have no text alternative. Screen readers announce the file name or skip the image, so blind users miss what it shows.

Who it affects

  • Screen reader users
  • People with low vision

Standards

How to fix it

  1. Decide whether the image conveys information (a product, a chart, a person) or is purely decorative.
  2. For informative images add an `alt` that says what the image communicates in context, in one short sentence – not "image of…".
  3. For decorative images use an empty `alt=""` so assistive technology skips them.
  4. If the image is a link or button, describe where it goes or what it does instead.

Example

Before

<img src="/team.jpg">

After

<img src="/team.jpg" alt="TODO: describe what this image shows">

Replace the TODO with a real description, or use alt="" if the image is purely decorative.

On Elementor

Click the Image widget → Content → Image, then use the Media Library to set "Alternative Text". Background images set in CSS need a text alternative elsewhere or should be decorative.
