Dropdowns without a label

What this is

3 dropdowns have no label, so screen readers just say "combo box".

Who it affects

  • Screen reader users
  • People with cognitive disabilities

Standards

How to fix it

  1. Add a `<label for="…">` that matches the `<select>` id, or an `aria-label`.

Example

Before

<select id="country"><option>Germany</option></select>

After

<label for="country">TODO: dropdown name</label>
<select id="country"><option>Germany</option></select>

Replace the TODO with the real field name. If the design hides labels, hide it visually (a "visually-hidden" class) instead of removing it.
